Nina Blychert Wisnia was born in Sollentuna, Sweden. Nina trained as a dancer at The Swedish Balettakademien in Stockholm and then as a visual artist in London attending Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design and The Royal College of Art. Nina has written and illustrated Children’s books published by Editions du Rouergue in France and Sweden, for which she was awarded the Opal Book Prize and Bologna Book Fair Award.

She has worked for a diverse range of clients internationally, dividing her time between her books and self generated projects, and commercial illustration commissions. Her clients include: Paul Smith, Magma, Top Shop, Scandinavian traveler, Cadbury’s, ENO. Formerly a graphic designer in the Arnell Group in New York and London, she currently pursues her own artistic practice, while taking on various illustration commissions including Children’s books and wall murals and is involved in a variety of modern and contemporary art projects.
